Proposal Log:
The Proposal Log process begins when a new proposal number is created and proposal information is entered into Coeus for the first time. To access this document, click here.
Proposal Summary:
The Proposal Summary process begins by receiving a copy of the RES form from the analyst responsible for the proposal. The RES form will be used throughout this procedure. To access this document, click here.
Proposal Completion:
The Proposal Completion process begins after the proposal has been mailed. The final RES form, which reflects all modifications that may have been made to information regarding the proposal, will be used throughout this procedure. To access this document, click here.
Proposal Revision:
The Proposal Revision process begins after a proposal has been submitted to the agency and a formal revision needs to take place. The final RES form will be used throughout this procedure. To access this document, click here.
Proposal Not Funded:
The Proposal Not Funded process begins when a proposal is not going to be funded by an agency and the appropriate steps need to be taken in Coeus. The same procedures would be followed if it has been over 18 months or a principal investigator decides to withdraw or void their proposal prior to review. To access this document, click here.
Proposal Searches:
The Proposal Searches process begins when an inquiry is made regarding a specific proposal. There are two types of searches: Proposal Log Search, which is used when an inquiry is made regarding a proposal that has been processed using the Proposal Log button, and Institute Proposal Search, which is used when an inquiry is made regarding a proposal that has been processed using the Proposals button. Award Set-Up:
The Award Set-Up process begins with the Coeus Award Entry Summary (CAES) form. This form will be attached to the award. Keep the CAES form close by, as it will primarily be used throughout this procedure. Other necessary forms that are needed for this procedure include the RES form and the Electronic Award Distribution sheet. To access this document, click here.
Award Continuation Set-Up:
The Award Continuation Set-Up process begins with the Coeus Award Entry Summary (CAES) form. This form will be attached to the award. Keep the CAES form close by, as it will primarily be used throughout this procedure. Other necessary tasks will need to take place prior to this step in Coeus depending on the type of award. Award Obligation:

Award Searches:
Award Searches begins with the Award Number. There are several different ways to search details of an award depending on the results you desire. Three of the most common searches include; the Principal Investigator, Award Sponsor, and Fund Number. To access this document, click here.
Award Close-Out:
